Good News

God is love.  He loves you!
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

God is also holy, and our sin separates us from Him.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

In order to satisfy both His love and His holiness, God made a way for sin to be judged so that we could be reconciled to Him.  That’s why Jesus came.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23b)
“For He
[God] made Him [Jesus] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”  (2 Corinthians 5:21)
“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.’” (John 14:6)

Jesus, the sinless Son of God, died in our place and then rose to life again so that the penalty for our sin could be paid and we could be made right with God.  He offers new life—spiritual life—to all who willingly acknowledge their need and place their trust in Him to be their Savior.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17)

Do you have this new life?  If so, share it with others so that they, too, can know the joy of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  If not, we encourage you to accept God’s amazing gift of salvation today.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12)
“…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
(Romans 10:9)
“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise…”
(Ephesians 1:13)

Peace with God can be yours today.  Jesus paid a high price for it and offers it to you freely.
“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)
